Adverse effects of the corona virus on the education system
Assalamu Alaikum as you all know that nowadays the
virus is having a negative impact not only on Pakistan but also on the
education system of the whole world. Schools, colleges, universities, etc. are
all closed due to which the children are not able to pay attention and the
children have become very free. He doesn't like it because he used to live in
school, college and university. But at home, he is not fascinated by the
environment and his education is having a great impact on him, which will have
a negative impact on his future life. In such a situation, most of the parents
say that there is already so much loss of education.
He said that he was worried that students would lose
time and year and in a country like Pakistan, the interest of children in education
as well as in their own educational institutions seems to be decreasing.
Children should not forget school habits. According to one estimate, Corona
will cause financial and business losses to the world economy for many years to
come, even as poverty is likely to increase and increase, but it can all be
cured over time. It may be impossible to make up for the loss of education at
the Corona level.
All schools and
colleges are closed in more than 114 countries. Students are affected. They
could sit in the classroom and listen carefully to the teacher's lecture, even
if they were forced to, but they could learn well in front of the teacher's
eyes. He used to ask his teachers about difficult and incomprehensible things,
but because of Corona, he has to suffer a lot from coming to online education
where there can be no face to face questions and answers. Despite the passage
of so many months, educational activities have not been fully restored.
Although partially, online education is continuing, which is not proving to be
beneficial at all. The students were very upset about why the fees were not
being reduced when they were not getting quality education and facilities. Many
students say that they have lost interest in studying because of sitting at
home. In addition, their study load has increased significantly. There is no
element of seriousness in online classes which leads to more time being wasted. The focus also shifts. At the same time, it is very difficult for
young children who cannot take classes on their own.
The biggest hurdle in providing online education is the
lack of internet which is not available to everyone at the moment, especially
for students who live in remote areas. Lack of access to high-speed Internet
connections makes it impossible for universities to communicate with students
and conduct classes via video conferencing. Therefore, the current situation
has made us realize that now we have to keep pace with the world and improve
our technology so that we can keep pace with other countries and better
facilitate our students in such a difficult situation. Because today those
schools and colleges which are lagging behind in digital work are facing a
difficult situation for these children in these conditions.
