ODI Rankings, Babar Azam Faces Challenge To Save First Position
The national captain currently has 865 points while Virat Kohli has 857 points
Pakistan captain Babar Azam is in the first position in
the ODI rankings while Indian captain Virat Kohli is in the second position.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), the 26-year-old
right-handed batsman has 865 points while Virat Kohli has 857 points. In order
to secure his position, Babar Azam will have to score runs in the three-match
ODI series against England starting today.
England all-rounder Chris Vokes, on the other hand, has joined the top three bowlers in the ODI player rankings after a stellar performance against Sri Lanka in a three-match series. Babar Azam had snatched the top position from Virat Kohli, who had been at the top for five years three months ago, scoring 228 runs with the help of a century and a half-century in the ODI series against South Africa.
